Lagoi Beach, Bintan, Riau Islands

In Indonesia, there is an Islands / Archipalego that has a lot of amazing natural scenery and several heaven you have to see, you have to enjoy there. Bali? no, no, It's not about Bali. Maybe, in some people's ears, it is not as popular as Jakarta, Bali, or Jogja. Even, many Indonesian itself has not been know much about it. However, there are several attractions that are not less lovely for you to visit than Bali, Jakarta, or Jogja.

Riau Archipelago (Kepulauan Riau or abbrev- Kepri), the name of province. The second youngest province in Indonesia. Riau Islands / Riau Archipelago is located in north west Indonesia and bordered by four countries outside. Vietnam and Kamboja in north, and Singapore and Malaysia in west.

Riau archipelago has a large and small island altogether 2408 islands. 30% of it has not been named and populated. With as many as 2408 islands which are incorporated in one province, it is the province with real natural fascination that are still beautiful!

Where's located?


The island of Bintan is situated just south of Singapore. And Lagoi, is precisely located in the District of North Bintan, Bintan regency, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia.

How's the landscape ?

How to get there from the uptown?

If you are from Singapore, There is a regular air-conditioned ferry service that plies between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore and Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal in Bintan, which is operated by Bintan Resorts Ferries. A one-way trip takes about 60 minutes.

If you are from Batam, There are regular speedboat services plying between Telaga Punggur Ferry Terminal in Batam and Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal in Lagoi (Bintan). Special chartered boat arrangements can be made between Nongsa Ferry Terminal (Batam) and Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal in Lagoi (Bintan) as well.

and if you already on Tanjung Pinang, the capital of Bintan itself, To get to the Lagoi Coast, need about 1.5 hours drive from Tanjung Pinang by using a rental car, taxi, or travel.
The first time you set foot on the beach, you'll get the sand as you walk on are white and powdery, the turquoise water crystal seems clear most days. Be prepared to enjoy world class beautiful natural scenery there. Coconut trees that lined neatly along the edge of the beach is also one tourist attraction Lagoi Coast.
